Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to common questions about our authentic Japanese home goods
Are your products authentic and made in Japan?
Yes, we work directly with traditional artisans and manufacturers across Japan to ensure every item in our collection is authentic and of the highest quality.
How should I care for my Japanese ceramics?
Most of our ceramics are handcrafted; we recommend hand-washing with mild detergent and avoiding sudden temperature changes to preserve the glaze.
Do you offer gift wrapping services?
We offer traditional Japanese Furoshiki gift wrapping for a small additional fee, perfect for special occasions.
What should I do if my item arrives damaged?
As many of our items are fragile, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage so we can arrange a replacement.
Are your wooden kitchenwares food-safe?
Absolutely. All our wooden items, including bento boxes and chopsticks, are treated with food-grade, non-toxic natural lacquers.
Do you restock items that are sold out?
Since many of our products are handmade by artisans, restocking can take several weeks. You can sign up for notifications on the product page.
